| Description (Service) | Provides opportunities for sport training and competition for individuals with an intellectual disability. Locally offers the sports of basketball, 5-pin bowling, curling, floor hockey, golf, soccer, softball, swimming, t-ball and track & field to youth (ages 8 and older) and adults. Athlete and volunteer registration inquiries should be directed to the Community Coordinator/Data Administrator/Volunteer Coordinator. Individuals of all ages and all abilities can train and compete in Special Olympics. Athletes train with and compete against athletes of similar ability levels. |
