Description (Service)

Salvation army provides Christmas hampers to singles, seniors, families and couples in need. Hamper includes food and toys for children 12 yrs and under.

2025 Christmas Hamper Applications:

Individuals can register to apply for a Christmas Hamper by calling 519-357-1387 for 2025 details. If you reach voicemail, please leave your name and a call back number. Clients will be informed of their scheduled pick up date and time for their hamper at time of registering. All hamper pick ups will be by appointment only and you must be registered. Food bank clients may also register in-person during their food bank appointment.

Donating: Angel Tree - a toy & gift card drive where individuals wanting to provide toys for a child can pick a tag off a tree and purchase a gift card or toy for that child. Trees are located throughout Wingham and at Red Apple, Stainton's Home Hardware, Pharma Save and The Salvation Army Thrift Store. Call for more locations. 519-357-1387

Volunteers are required for the Salvation Army Kettle Drive. All donations given to the Kettle Drive help support the Food Bank and stay in the community. Call Brian at 519-519-357-1951 or email Brian.Dueck@salvationarmy.ca for more information on volunteering.

Application	All clients need to do is call to apply for a Christmas Hamper. Have information on income and expenses ready at time of call. To register your children (ages 0-12) for toys/items you must have full custody. You may have to leave a message with a contact phone number.
