Description

Description (Service) Provides for a periodic break and planned respite for children, youth and adults with various needs in Huron County. Staff will assist in developing a respite plan with caregivers to meet their needs and the needs of the individual. Various respite options are available which include over-night, hourly, camps, in-person and/or virtual groups and workshops. Supports and services are voluntary, however must meet specific funding criteria to qualify for subsidy.

Hours Admin: Mon-Fri 8 am-4 pm
Areas Served Huron County
Eligibility The Program serves both children and adults, with disabilities. Funders do have criteria for eligibility. Various referral sources, however adults must quality through Developmental Services Ontario (DSO).
Application There is an application process.
Languages English
Fees Service ; Varies, depending upon funding /referral sources and qualifications. * Fee assistance available for subject to evaluation of need and available resources.
