Clinics supply free seating, walker and manual wheelchair assessments to older adults living in the North Simcoe Muskoka catchment area.

ADP authorizers assist in prescribing the most appropriate mobility device needed.

Clinics do not include information or service related to power or tilt wheelchairs, custom fabricated seating or scooters.

Clinics are held at various offices, senior's centers, retirement homes and care facilities across the catchment area. One clinic in Barrie every month and one clinic in either Bracebridge, Collingwood or Penetanguishene.

Hours Two clinics per month, by appointment.
Areas Served Barrie ; Chippewas of Rama First Nation ; Clearview (Simcoe County) ; Collingwood ; Midland ; Minesing ; Muskoka District ; Orillia ; Oro-Medonte ; Penetanguishene ; Ramara ; Severn ; Springwater ; Tay ; Tiny ; Wasaga Beach
Eligibility
  • must be over 55 years old
  • valid OHIP card
  • living in the North Simcoe Muskoka catchment area
If eligible, clients may receive 75% coverage for the prescribed device through the Assisted Devices Program
Application Call OR visit website to book an assessment date and time. Arrive to the agreed upon clinic on the assessment date.
Location will be given upon registration.
