Free volunteer tax clinic for low income individuals living in the riding of Simcoe-Grey. Volunteers will complete and e-file the income tax return for simple returns. Please see eligibility requirements below for income thresholds and what classifies as a simple return.

Hours Paper work can be dropped off Mon-Fri 9 am-4:30pm (excluding holidays) 
 
Program is available until the end of Jun 2026
Areas Served Blue Mountains ; Clearview (Simcoe County) ; Collingwood ; Wasaga Beach ; Constituent of riding
Eligibility Suggested maximum income levels should serve as a guideline only: 
Family size and total family income: 
1 person $35,000 
2 persons $45,000 
 
Volunteers do not prepare tax returns for complex situations such as: 
 
returns for deceased persons 
individuals who file for bankruptcy 
self-employed individuals 
individuals who report capital gains or losses 
individuals who report employment expenses, or business or rental income and expenses 
Eligible taxpayers normally served by the CVITP include: 
 
Indigenous peoples 
Low-income individuals and social assistance recipients 
Newcomers to Canada 
Seniors 
Students
Application Call in advance to receive intake forms. Can drop off intake forms and documents required to complete the tax return. As this is a volunteer program, returns make take one to two weeks to complete.
